we are White Shell Studios, a professional photography company based in Birmingham, UK. We pride ourselves on combining our experience and artistic flair to create the perfect package for our clients. Customer satisfaction is a huge deal to us, so we go above and beyond to understand our clients. Our specialism is portraiture; children, families, pets, maternity, corporate/acting headshots and also weddings and events. Our story
I'm Danny Maguire, the creator of White Shell Photography. My love for photography grew from my love of visual art, be it paintings, movies, fashion or architecture. I could've happily chose a career in any of these mediums but photography found me, and here I am. I graduated from University in 2016 with a BSc degree in Film technology. My degree focused heavily on the physics of light and the science behind how the camera actually works. Since graduating and embarking on my photography career, I have became obsessed with the biology of how humans see and read images. When I take a photograph, my sole aim becomes, retaining the viewers attention. This paired with my love for storytelling, creativity and the truth, helps ensure there's always a balance to my work.

From the moment I left university I was always going to be a photographer, so it was a matter of time before I created White Shell and subsequently opened our first studio.

The studio
The studio is situated in the heart of the West Midlands, a stones throw from both Birmingham Airport and Birmingham City Centre. We have a fully equipped studio that can be altered and arranged to suit your every need. There is ample on-site parking so you can rest assured your car is safe. Inside we have an enclosed chill out area for viewings, refreshments, changing and makeup. We're very easy to find by way of public transport or car. We're based on Marlborough Road, on the Manor Park Road cross roads in Castle Bromwich. You can reach us by the 94, 53 and 71 bus routes. The closest train station is Water Orton station which is situated 1.9 miles away. You can use National Express' journey planner to make your way to us.
