Data and image retention policy:

Customer data including contact details and images from the customer’s photoshoot are held for 10 years from the date of the photoshoot session. The information is held, securely using recommended and GDPR compliant systems. Customers often come back, after many years, wanting images from their previous photoshoot. For this reason we retain data and images for a maximum of 10 years. Images are held digitally and we cannot guarantee that all images will be retained from the photoshoot due to the technical nature of the storage. Customers have the opportunity to unsubscribe, change their preferences or have all of their data, including images, removed from our system at any time.

Unless the retention period has been extended, after 10 years (or before if requested) images and data are removed digitally and completely from the system.

Using your images for marketing?

Any image taken by White Shell LTD is owned by the company. The purchase of images does not include the purchase of the copyright. This means that legally we don't have to ask the client's permission to use their image for marketing purposes. As a gesture of transparency and good will, we will always attempt to ask the permission of a client that has partaken in an intimate photo session such as maternity or boudoir. If you wish for your images not to be used for marketing purposes (including social media) then please contact White Shell LTD on the phone number or email provided and we will abstain from using your images.
